Implementation Research and Evaluation

Consult or collaborate with AIRN on your implementation research and evaluation projects.

Our involvement in implementation research and evaluation relates to both development and delivery. We collaborate with researchers and evaluators who use the Active Implementation Frameworks™ in their work, as well as those interested in studying the application and impact of implementation strategies.

We are also available to support the design of implementation research and the development of meaningful measurement approaches.

Implementation Research and Evaluations
We consult and collaborate with researchers and evaluators who are…
  • Using the Active Implementation Frameworks as a part of their research or evaluation.
  • Interested in researching and evaluating the application and impact of the Active Implementation Frameworks.
  • Engaged in research or evaluation related to implementation processes and outcomes.
Active Implementation Research Network
Observing AIRN apply the Active Implementation Frameworks with us, in the same way we would go on to apply it with providers, gave us both a practitioner's understanding of the framework and a firsthand model for how to use it well.

Assistance in research design or evaluation of the Active Implementation Frameworks.

AIRN can assist you in the design of your research and in clarifying the functions and components of the Frameworks. We can also partner with you in the identification of evaluative opportunities related to the use and application of the Active Implementation Frameworks. Contact us to discuss your research and evaluation interests or needs.

Support for implementation measurement and data-informed decision-making

We support operationalizing innovations and interventions and the development of fidelity instruments designed to assess for quality and adherence to innovations and interventions.

We also consult on data collection and data use related to the process of implementation (e.g., designing, usability testing, and validating measurements related to the effectiveness of training, coaching delivery, and implementation team functioning).
